You are invited to join us for our Director of Nursing (DON) Virtual Networking Event.  The DON Virtual Networking Meeting will provide an update of industry hot topics.  This meeting will engage in an informal networking forum to share ideas and insights into best practices.  Representatives from the Iowa Department of Inspections and Appeals (DIA) have been invited to this meeting and will discuss recent survey trends and other Skilled Nursing/Intermediate Care Facility emerging issues including immediate jeopardy citations, top cited deficient practices, and recent CDC/CMS updated guidance for Long-Term Care Facilities.  DIA will also review any updates that may be available for implementing Phase 3 of RoPs.

This meeting will be held in a virtual, live-streaming format.  There will be CE credit available through the Iowa Board of Nursing. The networking meeting will begin at 1 p.m. with a presentation from DIA with time allowed for questions or suggestions for the presenters.  Following the DIA presentation, time will be allowed for networking opportunities by members to discuss questions you have for other nurse leaders.  The DON Virtual Networking Meeting is available as a member benefit for LeadingAge Iowa members only and will NOT be recorded.
