Infinity Rehab provides clinically intensive and comprehensive physical, occupational, and speech therapy services to over 225 sub-acute, long term care and campus environments in 16 states. It’s all we do; we believe it’s a specialization that takes special people to deliver. 

Keri Crompton joins the Infinity Rehab Sales team as the Regional Sales Director covering Nebraska, Florida, Minnesota, Iowa and Kansas. Keri is based out of Omaha, NE, and will spend ample time in all areas of her region.

Keri brings 20 years of health care leadership and experience to this position. She spent 11 years as the President/CEO of GCC a Physician Compliance and Auditing company where she employed Certified Professional Coders and held the credentials herself. Upon moving back to the Midwest, Keri worked as an Administrator of a large Surgery Center, then a large Private Group Practice. Most recently, she was the Director of Sales and Account Management with Direct Patient Logistics a division of Air Methods. Her established track record in both sales leadership and account management led to many years of success in a variety of health care positions. 80th Anniversary Celebration Hits High Note for Bishop Drumm Retirement Center

More than 425 people celebrated with Bishop Drumm Retirement Center in Johnston its 80th Anniversary on July 9.  The daylong event started with Mass and brunch and ended with music by well-known area performer Brendan McKnight at a large outdoor picnic for honored guests, residents, staff, their families and friends. The menu included such Iowa favorites as smoked barbecue pork and chicken, corn on the cob, watermelon and special dessert treats, to name a few.

Honored guests included Sr. Karen Yarkosky, RSM, former staff member and now volunteer at Bishop Drumm, Johnston Chamber of Commerce Director Heather Goodwin, Johnston Mayor Paula Dierenfeld, and CHI Living Communities Chief Operating Officer Wendy Dolyk.

The celebration at Bishop Drumm continues until the yearend with its 80 Acts of Kindness and a special December 80th Recap on what’s next moving toward the future.

Heather Rehmer, Bishop Drumm Executive Director, thanks LeadingAge Iowa and all the Iowa senior living communities and nursing homes for their well wishes and kind words.

 

 

Scholarships for Students at LeadingAge Annual Meeting in San Diego

For the third year, LeadingAge is excited to offer a student program at the 2019 LeadingAge Annual Meeting & Expo, October 27-30 in San Diego for students enrolled full-time in undergraduate or graduate programs at accredited colleges or universities (age 18 and up). Our goal is to expose and connect students to opportunities in the field of aging services.

If you are an interested student, the scholarship program includes: individual student registration for the 4-day conference, hotel accommodations (Saturday - Tuesday nights) and airfare stipend (covers roundtrip airfare to/from San Diego). Full-time faculty who bring students also will be eligible to register at our special student rate.
