Breakout Session 201: How Do You Know Your Compliance Program is Effective
Compliance programs have to be more than "window dressing" they have to detect and deter bad activity. Attendees will learn the importance of ensuring the compliance program is effective, and how to assess the effectiveness of the existing program using the standards and guidelines established by the Department of Justice.
- Describe the importance of having an effective compliance program and exactly what that means as determined by the Department of Justice.
- Determine if the organization’s compliance program would be viewed as effective under the three-part test of the Department of Justice.
- Identify aspects of an organization's compliance program that need to be addressed to ensure the effectiveness of the program.
