LeadingAge Iowa, in partnership with LeadingAge Oregon, is offering a virtual workshop designed for the entire interdisciplinary team to strengthen care planning skills. This program provides a comprehensive review of all 20 Care Area Assessments (CAAs), equipping both new and experienced nursing home staff with best practices for developing and enhancing resident care plans.

Admit to Discharge: A Rules, Regs, & Reimbursement Blueprint Webinar Series  (virtual)
August 20 & 27, 2025 from 1 - 2 p.m. & September 10, 2025 from 1 - 2:30 p.m.
This 3-part Educational Webinar Series will highlight the "High Priority" steps and process required to meet regulations and maximize reimbursement starting with the Pre-Admission\Admission process then continuing thru a resident's stay including navigating the required assessments, utilization of therapies, consolidated billing rules, and what are the other billable ancillaries and concluding with addressing payer changes and discharge notifications.

MDS Virtual Program  (virtual)
August 13-15, 2025 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
LeadingAge Iowa, in partnership with LeadingAge Oregon, is offering a three-day virtual workshop that provides a comprehensive review of the MDS assessment tool—including accurate coding, common errors, and its impact on care, reimbursement, survey outcomes, and quality measures—culminating in guidance on care area assessments and the Patient Driven Payment Model.

Elevate your leadership and ensure regulatory compliance with the Assisted Living Program Manager Training—an Iowa-specific course that fulfills DIAL Rule 69.29(5) and equips administrators, managers, and nurses with the essential knowledge and tools to succeed through a blend of on-demand modules and an in-person session on October 9.

Assisted Living Nurse Delegation  (in-person)

Location: Aurora Training Center, 11159 Aurora Ave., Urbandale
Meet Iowa regulatory requirements and strengthen your team with the Assisted Living Nurse Delegation Training—an in-person course designed to equip delegating nurses with the knowledge and tools needed to lead with confidence. This 6.75-hour training fulfills Iowa Regulation 481-69.29(6) and is required for all new delegating nurses hired after January 1, 2010.
