Event Description
CMS is intensifying scrutiny of MDS-based quality reporting through a new validation audit program tied to QRP (Quality Reporting Program). While MDS assessments haven’t drastically changed, these audits require facilities to prove that submitted MDS data are supported by underlying documentation.
This session will:
- Review how QRP audit expectations evolved under the IMPACT Act.
- Outline what documentation auditors may request and how the audit process works.
- Discuss strategies facilities can use now to prepare and minimize risk of penalties.

It is up to the discretion of the licensee to choose relevant sessions and self-report. Generic certificates of attendance will be provided.
