Nurse delegation is the process of one nurse directing another individual to perform nursing tasks and activities. While it sounds simple, correct nurse delegation processes include teaching, competency evaluation, and supervising the tasks to ensure they are performed appropriately. Although nurse delegation is included in core registered nursing curriculum, ensuring adequate completion is critical to ensuring the health and safety of those we serve. This webinar will review strategies to aid nurses in safely and appropriately delegating tasks within their scope of practice.
