PASRR System Changes to AssessmentPro

DHS and PASRR program partner, Ascend/Maximus, have made the decision to migrate the program from its existing system to the Maximus-developed AssessmentPro application for the state’s Preadmission Screening and Resident Review (PASRR) process. The transition to the AssessmentPro system is scheduled to take place on Thursday, October 1st.

Webinars kick-off the beginning of September, with over a dozen training sessions lined up for the days ahead of launch. Post-launch, a week-long series of Q&A sessions will be held so that providers can get answers to any lingering questions they may have about AssessmentPro or PASRR processes.

The email campaign to inform all hospitals, facilities, and agencies on our email distribution list began on August 14th and announcements will continue to be on a weekly frequency from now through 2 weeks post-launch, as well as two additional monthly check-in messages following the change.

DHS has stated one of their goals is to get multiple people on staff familiar with the PASRR process. From what DHS has observed, only one or two people on a staff typically have PASRR experience.
